What does end of support mean?
After 10 years, support for Windows 7 has ceased as of 14 January 2020.
Firstly you need to know that your computer will still function! Microsoft however will no longer provide:
- Technical support for any issues
- Software and security update or fixes
This leaves your computer at greater risk for viruses and malware.
What next steps do I need to take?
- We highly recommend that you backup your files and photos
- Consider upgrading to Windows 10 (older devices might not support an upgrade)
