SafetyNet Scope of Technical Support Services

WorkVentures SafetyNet provides technical support by phone for our client’s computer issues.This page explains in detail how we can help and what technical issues we can tackle.

Methods of Technical Support

  • WorkVentures SafetyNet is a telephone-based technical support service. Customers can call us on our freecall number (1800 112 205) and speak to one of our technical support consultants for assistance
  • Our team is available by telephone on our freecall number from Monday to Friday – 9am to 4.30pm AEST – excluding NSW Public Holidays
  • We use remote-assistance software called TeamViewer to help with computer problems. Our technical support team may ask you to download this from our website here to properly diagnose a fault
  • We are contactable via email if a customer prefers to email a problem to connect.support@workventures.com.au
  • Apologies but we do not make on-site visits to our customers to fix computer problems

  • Registering email addresses
  • How to sign up to social media websites (Facebook, Twitter etc.)
  • How to use Skype
  • How to use Netflix/Stan/YouTube
  • Backing up files to free storage providers like Google Drive, Dropbox or iCloud
  • Printer connections
  • Reinstalling Windows operating systems
  • Virus and Malware Removal (excluding ransomware)
  • Upgrading software
  • Transferring photos from a mobile phone to a computer

What your subscription doesn’t cover

WorkVentures SafetyNet does not provide support to customers with the following issues:

  • Problems with hardware provided by third-party vendors
    (such as modems supplied by an Internet Service Provider or ISP)
  • Ransomware attacks
  • File recovery caused by hard drive failure
  • Lost or forgotten password issues
  • Internet Connection issues
